Whitney Law Group is pleased to welcome Kelsey Simonson, who recently joined as a full-time Associate

Kelsey is an Associate attorney at WLG, where she focuses primarily on WLG’s litigation clients in a wide range of areas, including discrimination, wage and hour law, and executive issues. Kelsey also assists in advising executives in transition and related litigation when necessary.

She graduated from Suffolk University Law School in May 2023. While at law school, Kelsey was a member of the Suffolk Business Law Association and Women’s Law Association. Kelsey is a member of the bar in Rhode Island (Mass. bar admission pending) and is an active member of the Massachusetts Employment Lawyers Association.

Although Kelsey is a recent graduate from law school, she worked at WLG for two years prior to graduation. Kelsey initially joined WLG in May 2021 as a Law Clerk, working part-time during her second and third school years. She also worked at WLG as a full-time Summer Associate in the summer of 2022.

Prior to attending law school, Kelsey garnered previous hands-on experience in Human Resources, where she managed benefits, workers’ compensation, general liability, and unemployment claims, for a large restaurant franchise. Kelsey was born and raised in Rhode Island and attended Tulane University in New Orleans where she received her bachelor’s degree in business management and legal studies in business.

Kelsey enjoys the culinary arts, dog training, and tennis.
