Ava Sandford

Ava Sandford is an Associate attorney at Whitney Law Group. Before joining the firm, Ava gained substantial experience in Massachusetts litigation as a law clerk, where she worked extensively on workers’ compensation defense matters. In that role, she developed a strong foundation in legal research, case development, and client-focused problem-solving while assisting attorneys with complex factual records, motion practice, discovery, and litigation strategy.

Ava earned her J.D. from New England Law | Boston in May 2025 and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar later that year. During law school, she developed a strong interest in workplace-related legal issues, which ultimately led her to pursue a career in employment law. She also interned with a Boston-area employment firm, where she worked on matters involving wage, discrimination, and wrongful termination claims. That experience further shaped her interest in employment-related advocacy and strengthened her commitment to client representation.

Ava also holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Syracuse University. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and the Massachusetts Employment Lawyers Association. She is excited to begin her practice at Whitney Law Group and to advocate for clients in employment-related matters.
