Kelsey Simonson
Kelsey is an Associate attorney at WLG who focuses on the representation of individuals in discrimination and wage & hour litigation. She also assists employers with employment law compliance and defends them before agencies and in the courts.
She graduated from Suffolk University Law School in May 2023. While at law school, Kelsey was a member of the Suffolk Business Law Association and Women’s Law Association. She is a member of the Rhode Island bar, and her Massachusetts bar admission is pending. Like all attorneys at WLG, Kelsey is an active member of the Massachusetts Employment Lawyers Association, an industry group of lawyers focused on representing individuals in employment litigation.
Kelsey gained valuable experience working at WLG for two years during law school. Kelsey initially joined WLG in May 2021 as a Law Clerk, working part-time during her second and third school years. She also worked at WLG as a full-time Summer Associate in the summer of 2022.
Before attending law school, Kelsey garnered hands-on practical experience working in Human Resources, where she managed benefits, workers’ compensation, general liability, and unemployment claims, for a large restaurant franchise.
Kelsey was born and raised in Rhode Island and attended Tulane University in New Orleans where she received her bachelor’s degree in business management and legal studies in business. Kelsey enjoys the culinary arts, dog training, and tennis.
