Kaitlyn Millerick is Of Counsel to WLG. Her practice includes assisting individuals with a variety of workplace claims, including breach of contract, employment discrimination, wrongful discharge and retaliation. Additionally, Kaitlyn counsels employers on a wide range of matters, such as the creation and enforcement of employee handbooks and policies, compliance with federal and state regulations, and day-to-day personnel issues and decisions.
She is a graduate of Brandeis University, where she studied History and Legal Studies. She earned her law degree at Northeastern University School of Law. During law school, Kaitlyn worked as a law clerk for Judge Gorton at the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and interned at The Disability Law Center, the state's Protection and Advocacy agency, where she frequently handled employment discrimination cases. Additionally, she served as a law clerk at Morgan Brown & Joy, LLP, an employment law boutique, where she conducted legal research on a wide variety of employment issues, including the ADA, FMLA, and COBRA, and drafted memoranda on specific and time-sensitive client issues. Prior to joining WLG, Kaitlyn was part of an international organization that worked with financial institutions to ensure regulatory compliance in all areas of their businesses, including employment contracts and related matters.
Kaitlyn is a member of the bar of Massachusetts. She is also a member of the Women’s Bar Association.
